Buildings & Grounds
David Catizone - Chair
This committee takes care of the everyday problems and maintenance of our buildings (Church, Parish House, and Rectory).

Children's Ministry
Christine Ford-Huebsch - Chair
This group was formed to take care of and welcome the children and families that are already part of Grace Church, as well as to reach out to those in the community. We offer programs and activities for all children and families.

Choir
Donald Boyer, Choir Director; Boyd Herforth, Organist
The Grace Church Choir performs weekly anthems and enhances the 10:30 a.m. Mass by leading the Service music from September to June. The choir also sings on Holy Days such as the First Mass of the Nativity and the Easter Vigil. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 7:15 - 8:45 pm in the Church.

Columbarium
Beverly Bailey - Chair
The churchyard columbarium meets the natural desire of Christians for burial at the Church where they and their families have worshipped at Mass and other crucial events in their lives.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Kathryn Parker - Chair
Members knit shawls for Grace Church parisioners and non-parishioners, praying for the person as they knit. Periodically, the finished shawls are blessed during Sunday mass and distributed to the recipients.

Stewardship
Rick Scott - Chair
The Stewardship committee works together throughout the year. The committee is responsible for coordinating and getting the annual pledges as well as encouraging people to vounteer time and talent to church activities.

Ushers
The usher's role is to help create an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness among the members of the parish and newcomers to our Sunday Mass.

Vestry
The Vestry is a group of elected lay people whose function, by Canon Law, is to govern the "temporal" activities of the parish. The vestry consists of twelve members and two Wardens. The Rector presides over the meetings.

The Epistle
Nancy Karp and Kathryn Parker - Co-Editors
The Epistle is the monthly newsletter of the parish. The purpose of the Epistle is to keep the parish informed about coming events and activities, announcements and articles of interest.

Acolytes
Mary Carpenter - Chair
Acolytes actively assist the Celebrant in the worship of God by serving the Priest, ringing the Sanctus bells, being Crucifer, serving as Torch bearer, or Thurifer, or the Boat, etc.

Altar Guild
Ellen Jamison - Chair
The Altar Guild sets the altar for services and maintains the many different linens and implements used in worship.

Sacred Ministers, Intercessors and Lectors
Mary Carpenter - Chair
The duties of a Sacred Minister at Grace Church include administering the chalice and serving as subdeacon at all services. Lectors read the lessons while Intercessors lead the Prayers of the People.

Eucharistic Ministers
Mary Carpenter - Chair, Peggy Fellows - Vice-Chair
Eucharistic Ministers are licensed to take the Blessed Sacrament to the sick following a public celebration of the Eucharist.

Outreach Ministries

Robert Caskey Memorial Fund
The focus of this program, which has been in existence for at least thirty years, is to feed the hungry, the elderly, the lonely on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Meals on Wheels is also part of this program.

The R.E.N.T. (Relief from Eviction for Needy Tenants) Program

The primary purpose of this program is to prevent homelessness by assisting moderate to low income tenants who reside in the Middletown, NY school district, and are facing imminent eviction.
