Church School starts promptly at 9:45 am for grades Preschool through high school. We start with some time together with Father John and then move on to our class time, at this point classes are broken down into 4 groups; Preschool- Kindergarten, First- Second grades, Third- Fifth grades and Sixth grade & up. After class time we join the rest of our parish family at Mass, usually at the Peace.
Each month, the First Sunday of the month is CHILDREN'S SUNDAY!! There is no church school that day but all children & families are encouraged to attend & take part in the Mass. We sit together as a Church School in an area designated for the teachers & children. Our feeling is that this allows the children to see, experience and fully learn "what we do in church" as well as to actively participate.
We are currently using a curriculum by Group Publishing called the Hands on Bible Curriculum; however we regularly mix in other resources so that the children can also learn about the Episcopal Church & the Church year.
We welcome all children at all age levels and look forward to sharing our love God & his Good News with your Children. Volunteers are always welcome to help for Church School, Childrens Days or behind the scenes. Please contact me if you are interested.

Calendar of Upcoming Church School Events
September 7: We will once again be having a Blessing of the Backpacks at the Children's Sunday 10:30 mass. All are welcome bring a friend, relative, teachers & students alike!! In conjunction with that event we will be collecting school supplies for children in need in the Middletown & Pine Bush schools we ask that EVERYONE who can PLEASE bring in school supplies to donate!!!
September 21: First Sunday of Church School. We will start at 9:45. Children should bring a new registration form for this year & their Hands On Bible. If they do no have this Bible one will be provided for them.
October 5: Children's Sunday 10:30 Mass.
October 26: Fall festival/ Halloween alternative event. The date is tentative please check back for more info. All are welcome!
